GUITAR SOLO

„Clair de Lune“ is the actual solo project of Friedemann Wuttke and a musical journey through the impressionist era. The French composers Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy created a unique and distinctive musical language and brought it to the world. This programme features arrangements of famous works by Ravel and Debussy, which develop their own unique charm on the guitar and, together with other French composers, form the starting point for this programme.
From Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel via Spain to South America, where the Brazilian Heitor Villa-Lobos brought together the music of his homeland with the colors of Impressionism.

Other programmes focusing on Viennese Classical and late Romantic music are availbale on request. As well as numerous other solo programme concepts.

ASTOR PIAZZOLLA

In 2015 Friedemann Wuttke met the world-famous Argentine bandoneonist and composer Marcelo Nisinman at a festival in Switzerland and came together with Tango Nuevo music of Astor Piazzolla. This encounter led for both musicians to tours with string quintet and chamber orchestra.

Since then, Friedemann Wuttke has been playing with various renowned Piazzolla interpreters. Among them William Sabtier (Dijon), Victor Hugo Villena (Marseille) and Lysandre Donoso (Paris).

In addition to concerts with orchestra, this led to the actual duo programmes “Tango Sensations” with works of Bach and Piazzolla as well as “Piazzolla and his Time” with Tangos of Astor Piaszzolla and music of Bartok, Schostakowitsch and others for bandoneon and guitar.

CHAMBER WORKS

Guitar and Orchestra
Guitar music of the 19th and 20th centuries spawned a series of magnificent and virtuoso guitar concertos. Friedemann Wuttke has played them all. He has performed with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, the Cappella Istropolitana, the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra, the  Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the Hungarian Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, the Pecs Symphony Orchestra, the Camerata Europeana and many others.

Guitar and String Quartet
This rare but fascinating chamber combination lends itself both to a programme of classical music as well as an evening of Spanish music. It will appeal to classical concert listeners, lovers of guitar music and young people alike. Friedemann Wuttke performs these exceptionally varied programmes with German and international string quartets, including the prestigious Mandelring Quartet, young ensembles and the Cuban string quartet Caribe Nostrum. The virtuos castanet player Felix Matzura completes the Spanish programmes.
